Arson Suspected In Grants Pass Fire
Investigators suspect that a fire at single wide mobile home 5647 Cloverlawn Drive in Grants Pass Saturday night was set intentionally. At the time of the Rural/Metro Fire Department press release, it was not certain who owned the home that was occupied a man and woman.
The fire originated in the back with damage primarily occurring in a bed room and bathroom. The rest of the home suffered heat and smoke damage. The damage was estimated at $25,000.
There were no human injuries. A small dog died in the fire.
This is the second fire in a one week period where arson was thought to be a fire’s cause.
