Grants Pass police are investigating a Monday night shooting in the area of Northwest 3rd and Northwest “D” streets. 55-year old Ronald Charles Canepa Jr. Suffered a wound to his left leg. Police have collected evidence from the scene, interviewed witnesses and are looking for two white male suspects- one believed to be in his 30s, the other in his 20s.

Grants Pass Robbery Suspect Detained

23-year old Shaun Nicolas Johnson of Grants Pass is behind bars this morning. Police say Johnson  robbed “Crown Market” on 8th street Sunday night. Johnson allegedly brandished a knife during the robbery, and made off  with 2 12-packs of beer. Responding officers checked out the area surrounding market and apprehended Johnson without incident.
