The city of Ashland is joining the Oregon Department of Forestry in reducing the fire danger level from “Extreme” to “High.” Even with the lower level, outdoor debris burning is prohibited, motor vehicle traffic is still only permissible on improved roads, and smoking in areas of combustible vegetation is still prohibited.
