Medford Woman Dies In Car Accident

A 33-year old Medford woman died late Tuesday night in a high speed car crash near Talent. Jamie Walls driving on Pioneer Road in a car carrying two passengers- Andrew Gilman and Kendal Wheeler- when she lost control of the car, left the road, went through a fence and then rolled into a Talent Irrigation District canal. Walls was pronounced dead at the scene. Gilman and Wheeler were transported to the hospital.

Police are trying to determine if alcohol or drugs were a factor. One passenger was found in possession of meth.
