Here is the latest weather discussion for this weekend through Sunday February 26th.
A weather disturbance near the Washington coast will move south just off the Oregon coast through Friday night. Expect rain and snow showers to increase along the coast and coast range Friday afternoon and evening. Generally, shower coverage is expected to decrease further inland. Snow levels will be low, and will range 1500 to 2000 feet. Heavier showers may temporarily lower the snow level to near 1000 feet. Expect accumulating snow above 2000 feet by Friday evening, especially over southern coos and curry counties.
Drier air will spread across western Oregon Saturday and Saturday night for a temporary break in the shower activity.
Another disturbance will approach the north Oregon coast Sunday, then shift inland and weaken over northwest Oregon Sunday night. Expect rain and snow showers to increase Sunday afternoon and evening. The best chance of showers on Sunday will be along the Oregon coast and inland to the coast range. Snow levels will remain around 1500 to 2000 feet. ... See more
