Therapeutic Foster Families Needed Sun 18th January - Thu 18th February Family Solutions is looking for Foster Homes for youth ranging in age from 6 - 17, who have behavioral and emotional issues. These kids require a safe and nurturing home with effective parenting where their special needs are valued and supported.
Shoes Needed - Medford Tue 19th January - Wed 24th February Cascade Christian High School students are collecting Gently Used Shoes to Raise Funds for a Ministry Outreach Trip to Help Students in Managua, Nicaragua. Shoes will be collected from January 19 - February 24.
Master Recyclers Training Course Enrollment - Medford Wed 20th January - Tue 1st March Jackson County Recycling partnership is seeking residents of Jackson County to take part in the annual training course and volunteer service. Classes will take place on Tuesday evenings, March 8-May 17, 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the Rogue Disposal & Recycling HQ at One West Main in downtown Medford.

Hillah Shrine Circus - Central Point Mon 1st February - Sat 12th March The Hillah Shrine Circus will be at the Jackson County Fairgrounds Saturday, March 12, 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm and Sunday, March 13, 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Come see the death-defying aerial acts and animal attractions including tigers and elephants. Children will have the opportunity to ride and pet some of the animals.
Help Needed - Ban Taxpayer Money for Abortions Thu 4th February - Fri 4th March Oregon Life United PAC is beginning the process of gathering signatures to place a proposed constitutional amendment on the November, 2016, general election ballot which would prohibit the State of Oregon from using taxpayer money to pay for elective abortions.

Rare and Historic Maps of Jackson County - Medford Tue 16th February RVGS member Roger Roberts, a land surveyor and former Jackson County Surveyor, has a large collection of maps that date from the 1860's to the 1930's. RVGS obtained a grant to scan and index these maps. With the help of Chuck Eccleston, Roger will give an overview of the project and what it means for genealogical research.

Rogue Valley Chorale Concert - Medford Sat 12th March - Sun 13th March The Rogue Valley Chorale presents 'Miza Azteca', a modern choral and percussion extravaganza with additional performances by Cantare youth chorus and Ballet Folklorico Ritmo Alegre. Concerts are March 12, 7:30 pm and March 13, 3:00 pm at the Collier Center. There will be a pre-show lecture one hour before curtain by composer, Joseph Gonzales.
