The Eugene City Council is hearing from coal train opponents and supporters at Monday night's meeting as it considers a resolution opposing shipments from Wyoming and Montana to a proposed export terminal at the Port of Coos Bay.
Opponents are concerned about unhealthy coal dust blowing off the trains the pass through the city.
