The Coquille Tribal Community Fund has awarded $207,000 in grants to 34 non-profit organizations and public agencies in the Coos Bay area.
The World reports the tribe distributes a portion of gaming revenues each year from The Mill Casino at North Bend. The fund has distributed $4.3 million since 2001.

Ashland officials have removed three donation boxes aimed at benefiting the homeless after it was discovered that all the paper bills inside had been stolen. The Ashland Daily Tidings reports the downtown boxes will be reinstalled after they are redesigned to be theft proof.Read More »
