Tip Leads To Burglar Arrest

A tip from an alert employee at Baldini’s restaurant led to the arrest of a suspected burglar. Grants Pass police took 23-year old Jack David Spurgeon into custody, after they found him inside Lam-Air Heating Tuesday night. Spurgeon allegedly entered the business through the roof, stealing tools, cash and office supplies. Later- a Baldini’s employee said a man who matched the description of the burglary suspect had come into the restaurant. Within minutes, Spurgeon was arrested.
