Singler Signs With Spanish Team

To Spain, the land that gave us Rudy Fernandez, Sergio Rodriguez, the Gasol brothers and Ricky Rubio, goes one-time South Medford phenom Kyle Singler. The 6-foot-8 forward from Duke was drafted in June by the Detroit Pistons in the second round. Singler has an escape clause in his contract should the NBA lockout resolve.

Singler will play for Alicante, a team in Spain's top league.
