Josephine County's Senior & Child ID Program Moving
The Child & Senior Identification Program for Josephine County is moving to the Cave Junction Substation located at 222 W. Lister St. The move is taking place Monday, April 2. This, according to a press release from the Josephin County Sheriff's office.
The Child & Senior ID Program provides parents and guardians with a CD of their loved one's fingerprints, photos and descriptors so that, should that person ever go missing, the guardian already has the information needed to help law enforcement with recovery.
The program will be available there the entire month of April, on Mondays and Thursdays from 1:00-4:00 p.m. It is staffed entirely by volunteers.
The Sheriff's Office does not retain these identification records in its database. The only copy of the information is on the CD received by the guardian.
For more information, contact the Cave Junction Substation at 541-592-5151.
