Even with all the blustery weather, Sunday’s “Ski Against Hunger” was a success- according to the folks at Mount Ashland. Skiers received a free ticket in exchange for non-perishable food. Philip Yates from “ACCESS” estimates the promotion generated over 49-hundred pounds of food. Mount Ashland reports 927 lift tickets donated- 284 more than last year.
