The Medford Fire Department responded to an 8:41 a.m. alarm this morning, alerting them to a house fire at 935 Village Circle Drive. As crews arrived, firefighters received a second alarm coming from 939 Village Circle Drive as the fire had spread.

Motorists planning to use Crater Lake Avenue in Medford Tuesday and Wednesday will want to be aware of road work going on that will slow and detour traffic between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. The work will occur between Delta Waters and Forest Hills Drive. The Medford Water Commission is instructing drivers to expect delays and consider using alternate routes.
Sunday morning at 5:43 a.m., Medford police responded to an incident at a residence on Boardman Street. Upon arrival, they found a 22-year old male who had been stabbed, and was suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
