City of Klamath Falls, Pacific Power Clash

The city of Klamath Falls and Pacific Power are squaring off for a fight over the idea of a municipal utility. The Herald and News reports the City Council has commissioned a $40,000 feasibility study from a consultant. The city would like to cut power rates to encourage business. Klamath Falls Man Arrested After Car Chase

A Klamath Falls area man was arrested Sunday after attempting to elude the Oregon State Police in a stolen vehicle on Highway 97. The incident ended when the driver crashed and then attempted to flee on foot. 43-year old Aaren M. Broderick Jr. Was caught about 300 feet from the Volkswagen Jetta he was driving, and is now lodged in Klamath County Jail.
