Explosion, Fire At Ashland Business

Ashland firefighters responded this morning to the report of an explosion and fire and Alchemical Solutions on Benson Way. Neighboring businesses needed to be evacuate. Nearby Crowson Road needed to be closed off for a period of time. The business is a distiller of organic high-proof alcohol. The cause of the fire is not known at this time, and at last report, there were still active flames.Read More »

Firefighters in Grants Pass were able to act quickly Tuesday evening in putting out a grass fire in the area of Redwood Avenue and McDonald Lane at around 5:40 p.m. The fire only burned an acre, and no damage done to threatened structures. Applegate Grass Fire Burns 24 Acres

A grass fire at 5577 Little Applegate Road torched 24 acres at around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday. Nearly 40 firefighters were called to the scene from Applegate Fire District #9 and the Oregon Department of Forestry. Neighbor's Actions Quench Apartment Fire
