Medford Home Fire Self-Extinguished

A fire that occurred in a Medford home at 1150 East Main over the weekend appears to have put itself out. The homeowners were out of town when the fire occurred. They returned home Monday night to find their basement flooded, and their house full of soot and smoke. Damage was confined to the basement. Early Morning Fire In White City Destroys Trailer

A travel trailer in White City on Avenue “A” was destroyed by an early morning fire. Jackson County Fire District 3 battled the blaze, responding to a call at 3:14 a.m. Firefighters were able to quickly stop the fire’s spread to an adjacent travel trailer. A woman living in the trailer was hospitalized for smoke inhalation. A youngster living in the trailer escaped without injury.Read More »

Firefighters Called Out A Second Time To Site of Ashland Area Blaze

Just hours after fighting a big fire at a home on North Valley View Road near Ashland, firefighters once again found themselves fighting flames at the same residence early this morning. Neighboring Medford Homes Catch Fire

Fire Damages East Medford Home

An early morning fire has damaged a Medford home. An attic and garage were damaged to a home in the 1-thousand block of Camellia Avenue after being reported at 4:17 a.m. this morning. The home owner and her children escaped without injury. An investigation of the fire continues.

Morning Fire Quickly Extinguished at Erickson Air Crane

Firefighters from Jackson County Fire District Three and Medford Fire and Rescue quickly put down a fire reported at 4:40 a.m. today at Erickson Air Crane. Security personnel were the only employees at the scene at the time of its start and made the emergency call. Crews are saying the blaze started when an air compressor caught fire. Early Morning Medford Fire Damages Cars, Carport

About $100,000 damage was done from a carport fire at an apartment complex on Oak Grove Road in Medford this morning. The carport and three cars, and the blaze may well have totaled a 4th vehicle. Firefighters responded to a 2:30 a.m. call. No one was injured. Firefighters kept the fire from spreading to the apartments, however a window was broken out, likely from the heat.Read More »

Early Morning Fire at Vacant Medford Home Prompts Evacuation

A 3 a.m. fire at 414 West Jackson in Medford prompted the evacuation of two neighboring homes. It spread to the home next door at 412 West Jackson. The resident and her cats made it out of the home safely. The cause is unknown. No one was injured.
