Lithia Reports Good News on Corporate Earnings

Medford-based auto retailer Lithia Motors reported during their quarterly conference call that they experienced a 52 percent jump in earnings for the fourth quarter from $12.7 million to $19.3 million. Healthy increases in sales were seen in both new and used vehicles sales- 31 percent for new, and 20 percent for used, says company president Bryan DeBoer. Continued growth is expected for 2013.

Intel Plans Expansion of Hillsboro Campus

Intel plans to expand a $3 billion research factory under construction at its campus in Hillsboro. The Oregonian reported Wednesday the chipmaker plans a second module, attached to the building now under construction and due to open next year. New Facebook Data Center To Be Added

Facebook has filed plans for a third data center in the Central Oregon city Prineville. The Bend Bulletin reports the social network company has a 334,000-square-foot facility up and running in Prineville and a twin under construction next door. The third facility would be smaller, about 62,000 square feet.

Net Income Falls For Nike In 4th Quarter
