The announcement that fire season is over for Oregon Department of Forestry lands and the city of Ashland provides the Jackson County Environmental Public Health Division opportunity to remind residents of open and barrel burning requirements.
Permits for open and barrel burning are available at local fire departments and fire districts. Some fire departments will do this through the mail.
