Two Medford area transients were arrested for burglary Saturday, after one of the suspects left a bracelet with his name on it at the scene where the thefts occurred. A man suspected of stealing a lap top computer from someone who had a restraining order against him is in Jackson County Jail. Police say 20-year Abdul Blair of Medford was not armed when they arrested him near the corner of Barnett Road and Riverside Avenue. Arrest Made In La Placita Burglary

A second suspect in the February 5th La Placita burglary was arrested Tuesday. Medford Police received a tip that 30-year old Daniel Ballard was riding on an RVTD bus headed down Riverside Avenue. Authorities stopped the bus near Ohio, but Ballard managed to escape, grabbing his bicycle from the front of the bus and fleeing. A taser was fire, but was ineffective.Read More »
