Two Langlois Market Burglary Suspects Caught, One Remains At Large

Three men suspected of burglarizing the Langlois Market are also thought to be responsible for burglarizing a Shell station in Smith River and a 76 station in Gold Beach. Third Suspect In Eagle Point Burglaries Case Apprehended

A third suspect in a burglary case has been taken in by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies. When questioned, 26-year old Micah James Farley confessed to participating in four burglaries in the Dry Creek and Yankee Creek road area in Eagle Point. DNA Helps Solve Eagle Point Burglary

Thanks to DNA found on the mouth of an orange juice carton, the Jackson County Sheriff’s office was able to solve an October 29, 2012 burglary in the 11-thousand block of Agate Road in Eagle Point. During the course of the break-in, jewelry, a flat screen TV, and $10,000 worth of silver ingots were stolen, along with collectible coins from a heavy home safe.Read More »

Burglary Suspects Caught After Leaving ID at Scene of Theft

Two Medford area transients were arrested for burglary Saturday, after one of the suspects left a bracelet with his name on it at the scene where the thefts occurred. Police say 20-year Abdul Blair of Medford was not armed when they arrested him near the corner of Barnett Road and Riverside Avenue. Arrest Made In La Placita Burglary

A second suspect in the February 5th La Placita burglary was arrested Tuesday. Medford Police received a tip that 30-year old Daniel Ballard was riding on an RVTD bus headed down Riverside Avenue. Authorities stopped the bus near Ohio, but Ballard managed to escape, grabbing his bicycle from the front of the bus and fleeing. A taser was fire, but was ineffective.Read More »

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating two separate burglaries that took place on July 27 and July 28 in Shady Cove. Bargains on the Rogue and Minimall were burglarized at some point during the night.
