Southern Oregon has its first bicycle signal up and running. Cyclists have a dedicated lane and signal on Ashland street towards the bridge spanning Interstate 5 at Exit 14, approaching the southbound on-ramp. An ODOT spokesman says signals like this have been a success in Portland and Eugene.
When the bike’s signal is green, all motor vehicles turning must stop.
