Ashland Teens Accused of Sexual Assault, Hazing

The charges result from incidents that occurred at a football camp at Linfield College June 21-24. The Jackson County Sheriff's says dental records have enabled them to identify the skeletal remains found Saturday by a miner in the Central Point area, on Old Military Road. Rachel Rice was 46-years old when she was last seen on August 6, 2005 walking along Old Stage Road. An autopsy will be performed Thursday.

Fire Damages East Medford Home

An early morning fire has damaged a Medford home. An attic and garage were damaged to a home in the 1-thousand block of Camellia Avenue after being reported at 4:17 a.m. this morning. The home owner and her children escaped without injury. An investigation of the fire continues.
