Police are reporting that the Amber Alert issued this morning has been de-activated. 5-year old Skyler Coulcer- Jarding has been found safely, and the suspect accused of abducting him, 36- year old Brian DePriest, has been taken into custody.

An AMBER Alert is being activated in Oregon related to the reported kidnapping of a 5-year old boy by an adult male following an assault in the city of The Dalles. 5-year old Skylar Meldin Coulcer-Jarding is described as white male, 3'6", 45 - 50 lbs, with sandy brown hair. Fatal Accident Involving Medford Man Remains Under Investigation

Police are still piecing together details on an accident on Interstate 5 that killed a Medford man driving a commercial vehicle. Thursday at 11:40 a.m., 71-year old Bruce Merrill was heading north. For reasons unknown at this time, Merrill crossed over into southbound traffic at milepost 83, went through a ditch and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Icy Roads Wreak Havoc On Friday Commute

Albertson's Robbery Suspect Arrested

Medford police arrested a man accused of robbing the pharmacy inside the West Main Street Albertson’s store Wednesday night. 32-year old Eli Richard Williams fit the description of the suspect, and was found walking along West Main at Reager Street when he was arrested.
