It was the first time since the Miami Masters in March 2010 that Djokovic has been eliminated so early in a tournament. Oregon Natural Gas Prices Cut

Rates for natural gas in Oregon have been cut. The Public Utility Commission said Wednesday it has ordered three companies to reduce rates based on the lower prices they pay for gas. Ashland Police Seeking Rite Aid Burglar

Ashland Police are on the lookout for man who broke into the Rite Aid on Ashland Street at about 4:43 a.m. The suspect, possibly a juvenile, used a large wrench to break the window. Cash was stolen during the course of the break-in and property was damaged inside. The suspect was seen on video 20 minutes earlier attempting to break into the Albertson’s store down the street.Read More »

Accused Bike Trail Vandal No Longer Employed By Jackson County

A psychiatrist accused of sabotaging mountain-biking trails in the Ashland watershed no longer works for Jackson County. County officials say Jackson Dempsey stopped working for the county on Oct. 19, but wouldn't tell the Mail Tribune whether Dempsey was fired or resigned. Oregon Gas Prices Fall

The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Oregon is $3.85. That's down 13 cents in a week. It's 31 cents higher than the national average. Some metro prices from the AAA's Monday survey: Portland $3.84, Salem $3.80, Eugene-Springfield $3.85, Medford-Ashland $3.87.
