The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating two separate burglaries that took place on July 27 and July 28 in Shady Cove. Bargains on the Rogue and Minimall were burglarized at some point during the night. New Facebook Data Center To Be Added

Facebook has filed plans for a third data center in the Central Oregon city Prineville. The Bend Bulletin reports the social network company has a 334,000-square-foot facility up and running in Prineville and a twin under construction next door. The third facility would be smaller, about 62,000 square feet.

Non-profits Team To Clean Tsunami Debris

Four nonprofit groups say they will team up to organize and coordinate Oregon volunteers working on tsunami debris. The World of Coos Bay reports the groups plan to create a data base of people who can monitor the Oregon coast, report debris accumulating and help in cleanup efforts.
