NFL's QB Carousel: Flynn, Hoyer, Glennon In, Pryor, Freeman, Weeden Out

By Jim McCoy Wed 25th September SportsNFLQuarterbacks
Check it out, fantasy football fans, the NFL landscape will feature less familiar faces at QB. Oakland Raiders starter Terrelle Pryor is not practicing with the team two days after suffering a concussion in Monday night's game against Denver. If he misses the game (and there's a good chance he will), Matt Flynn, who was picked up from Seattle will start Sunday. Pryor can't practice until cleared by doctor's. The concussion came on a hit by Broncos' LB Wesley Woodyard. The hit was deemed legal because Pryor was running between the tackles. The Cleveland Browns will once again go with Brian Hoyer at QB. The former Patriots' reserve led Cleveland last Sunday to an upset victory over Minnesota. Frustrated with their current status, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are benching starter Josh Freeman in favor of rookie Mike Glennon from North Carolina State. The third-round pick was once a back-up to Seattle's Russell Wilson, who began his collegiate career with the Wolfpack.
